Exterior Electrical Inspection

While many components and systems in homes located in Florida and the surrounding area have service life expectancy that are comparable to those anywhere else in the U.S., those items that are regularly exposed to the elements, including saltwater, wind, sun and heat, are particularly vulnerable to premature failure compared to items installed in homes located elsewhere. With regards to safety, it is with the upmost importance that you inspect your home on a regular basis.

Here are a few things to look for:

• Check trees around the house to be sure they're not threatening wires

• Look for any exposed wiring that may be missing it's protective coating

• Look for loose covers, receptacles, and loose boxes, which may have to be refastened

• Look for any corrosion
